Celta comes from a 3-0 away loss to Alaves and they have not secured their stay in the category yet. Despite the fact that the visitors had almost double the possession time, they ended the match with zero shots on target. In the first half, the visitors’ goalkeeper had to make three crucial saves to keep his goal intact, and the teams went to half-time with a 0-0 scoreline.

However, in the second half, Alaves started with two goals, one in the 48th minute by Simeone and another in the 54th minute by Guridi. The latter also hit the crossbar in the 74th minute, and 10 minutes later Celta made their presence felt for the first and last time with an incredible missed chance by Aspas. In the 86th minute, Benavidez scored the final 3-0.
