Chelsea’s presence was excellent in the midweek match against Tottenham, where they triumphed with a 2-0 win. They had a much better performance from the start and opened the scoring in the 24th minute. From then on, they managed to keep dangers away from their goal. In the second half, they scored for the second time in the 72nd minute to secure a final 2-0 scoreline.

They are returning to victories after two matches where they suffered a heavy defeat to Arsenal and drew with Aston Villa. They are five points behind the top of the table with one game in hand and are aiming to secure maximum points in the last four games to secure a spot in European competitions for the new season.

There is a long list of absences for yet another match. Sanchez (16/0) will be unavailable in goal. Missing from the defense will be Dias (30/2), Thiago Silva (27/3), Guehi (23/0), Chalobah (23/1), Chilwell (13/0), and James (8/0). In midfield, Fernandes (28/3), Ugbochukwu (10/0), Tchuemeka (9/1), and Lavia (1/0) will also be absent.

West Ham had a very good game in their home match against Liverpool, which ended in a 2-2 draw. The match was balanced in the first half, and after escaping in some instances, they managed to take the lead in the 43rd minute. They conceded the equalizer in the 48th minute and had an unlucky own goal in the 65th minute that put them behind. However, they did not give up and managed to equalize in the 77th minute to make it 2-2 in the end.

They are now without a win in their last three games. This negative streak has definitively put them out of European positions, but they are expected to finish in the top half of the table. They have a tough schedule ahead and want to show a good performance in their remaining three games.
