Leicester celebrated a promotion victory in their home match against West Brom, which they won 2-1. In the first half, they started well and managed to take the lead in the score in one of their first chances in the 22nd minute. In the second half, in the 65th minute, they found a second goal to take a strong advantage for the win. They conceded a goal ten minutes later but held on, securing a 2-1 victory.

Returning to victories for Leicester after two consecutive defeats with 1-0 away from home against Millwall and Plymouth. Now, in the last three games, they are looking for two wins to be able to secure their promotion to the Premier League mathematically. They want to achieve it as soon as possible to rid themselves of the pressure.

There are no injuries reported, so they will lineup at full strength.

“Suicide” for Southampton at Cardiff’s home ground where they were defeated 2-1. They started well in the match and in the 12th minute of the game managed to take the lead. However, they failed to hold onto the three points. In the second half, in the 68th minute, they conceded the equalizer from their opponent and in stoppage time the final score became 2-1 against them.

After three consecutive wins, Southampton was defeated at Cardiff’s home ground and thus lost the chances it had for promotion. With three games left to go, they cannot overtake two teams below them and will therefore compete for promotion through the play-offs.

Absent are the starting goalkeeper Bazzounou (41/0) and the substitute forward Stewart (2/0).
