After an impressive game, Vesterlo conceded a draw with 3-3 against Standard Liege. The visitors had a better start to the match and opened the scoring in the 22nd minute. Vesterlo responded and equalized in the 29th minute, turning the game around in the 49th minute. Ten minutes later, they raised the score to 3-1 from the penalty spot. However, the visitors did not give up and in the 78th minute, they reduced the score to 3-2, finding the equalizing goal in injury time for the final 3-3 result.

Vesterlo is in a very bad condition, as in their last eight games, they have failed to win, having six losses and only two draws. They are indifferent in the standings and are simply waiting for the end of the championship.

Missing from the team are the key defender Bairam (23/1) and midfielder Chadli (18/0).

Leuven’s presence in their home match against Saint Truiden was good as they secured a significant 1-0 victory. They dominated the match from the beginning and had control of the game, although they missed several opportunities to score. The only goal came in the 83rd minute, sealing the final result.

For the second consecutive game at their stadium, Leuven claimed victory with a 2-1 win over Gent. They are not chasing anything in the standings and remain indifferent. Nevertheless, they show a desire to end the season positively and finish as high as possible.
