After an impressive game, Vesterlo conceded a draw 3-3 against Standard Liege. The visitors had a better start to the match and thus opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the game. Vesterlo responded from there and brought the match level in the 29th minute to turn the situation around in the 49th minute. Ten minutes later, they raised the score to 3-1 from the penalty spot. However, the visitors did not give up the match and in the 78th minute they reduced the deficit to 3-2 to find the equalizing goal in stoppage time for the final 3-3.

They are not in their best form, as in their last four games they have failed to win with three draws and one defeat. They are indifferent in the standings in their last five games of the season. They escaped relegation, but beyond that, they were not able to compete for a European ticket.

Serious absences in defense as Fosey (26/1), Van Heusden (21/0), Ngoy (15/1) and Doumbia (11/0) are out. O’Neil (23/1) will be missing from midfield.

Malin did not resist in its away match against Ghent and succumbed to its opponent to be defeated 3-1. In the 37th minute, they fell behind in the score but managed to react. In the 62nd minute, they equalized the match without being able to celebrate much. This is because three minutes later they conceded a goal and fell behind again. In the 75th minute, the score became 3-1 against them, which was the final result.

After their victory against Waasland-Beveren, they could not continue with positive results. They remain four points away from the top and against Standard Liege, they need a win to keep their hopes alive for the top spot in their group.
