The Saint Truiden did not perform well in their away match against Leuven, from which they suffered a 1-0 defeat. They had a passive role throughout the match and failed to create chances. On the contrary, they escaped being behind in the score several times. However, they could not hold on until the end, as they conceded a goal in the 83rd minute to ultimately lose 1-0.

After four games without a defeat, including three wins and one draw, they failed to get anything from the match. They remain six points away from the top of their group and can only return to the top contention by defeating Ghent. Otherwise, they will essentially be indifferent in the final four games.

The presence of Gent was very good in its home match against Malines, which it won 3-1. In the first half, it had the upper hand and managed to take the lead in the 37th minute.
