Vancouver managed to secure a positive result away at New York Red Bulls, earning a 1-1 draw. They had a very good start to the match and scored in the 15th minute with one of their first chances. Naturally, they then faced pressure from their opponents and were equalized in the 56th minute. From the 74th minute onwards, they played with one player more, but couldn’t take advantage of it to score a second goal.

Vancouver has had a very positive start to the season, currently sitting in 3rd place in their conference. With five wins and two draws in their first nine games, they look set to compete for a spot in the playoffs this season. Against Austin, they will look to continue their positive streak and earn another three points.

Austin’s presence was excellent in his home match against Los Angeles Galaxy, where they won 2-0. He entered the match in an excellent way and opened the scoring in the 7th minute. He continued at the same pace to find a second goal in the 19th minute for 2-0. From there on, they managed to keep a clean sheet in their defense and celebrate this significant victory.

In amazing form as they now have four wins in their last five games. Climbing from the bottom positions of the standings to 7th place, they are now in the playoffs. Against Vancouver, they are called to break the negative tradition they have there and to get the result that will keep them in the top seven of the standings.

Defender Wysanen (1/0) is consistently out. The participation of key midfielder Pereira (9/0) is doubtful.
