Incredible performance from Coventry last weekend in the FA Cup against Manchester United where they came close to causing a huge upset but were eventually eliminated in penalties. They didn’t start well and were behind 1-0 in the 23rd minute, conceding a second goal in first half stoppage time. In the 58th minute, they fell behind 3-0 and everything seemed lost. However, with goals in the 71st and 79th minute they reduced the deficit to 3-2 and equalized in injury time for 3-3, sending the game into extra time. There, a goal was disallowed and they were defeated in penalties.

Following their tremendous effort, they continue in the championship with minimal chances for the top six. They are nine points away with two games in hand. They need a win against Hull to stay alive in the battle and compete for everything in their last three games.

Key midfielders Sakamoto (29/7) and Palmer (28/1) are not available.

Hull did not play its best game in the away match against Watford where it stayed at a goalless draw. The team may have been eager for a result, but it could not find its rhythm and threaten its opponent much. Defensively, it did not face many problems and kept the zero relatively comfortably, with the final result being considered fair.

Remaining undefeated for a fourth consecutive game, but this draw kept them six points away from the 6th place with one match less. Against Coventry, they only want the win to stay alive in the remaining two matches and hope for a points loss from Norwich.

The participation of striker Zarouri (12/2) for this match is doubtful.
